Just joined. Combat and Salvage. I have so far been very lucky with my finds when salvaging. I've been able to collect some really good guns and even a couple of reactors.

AND I just got my first new ship - a Rigel V (thanks to Pikolinianita)

I don't know if high tech loot, salvage, or space debris is usefull, but if it is then I am more than happy to drop into whatever ongoing project we have.

High Tech Loot and Space Debris are both used in the Engineering profession (making Pods and other such items).  High Tech Loot, Space Debris, and Salvage items are all needed (sometimes in *large* quantities) for various NPC missions.  Currently we have no ongoing project that requires collecting any of these.

Best of luck with the combat and salvage!  There are some items you can only get through combat loot that are always in demand from crafters.

Oh, and congratulations on the new ship!
